Some may consider it a “Hallmark holiday” but I don’t think it hurts to have a day dedicated to showing someone how much you care. Still, I like to skip the recycled cards and over-priced roses. Instead, I whip up one (or more!) of these dairy-free Valentine’s Day recipes. This list includes the best sweet treats, romantic meals, and favorites for breakfast in bed.

They say the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. Let them know they are truly loved by accommodating special diet needs, too! All of these recipes are dairy-free as is, many are egg-free and vegan, and some are gluten-free and allergy-friendly. There are even some paleo goodies in the bunch. And please don’t count – I had trouble stopping at twelve. Each category has a dozen-plus recipes.
