Heute hat Pagani die Hüllen von einem seiner teuersten Serienprodukte gezogen. Und bei Pagani will das etwas heißen. Sagen Sie Hallo zum super extremen Huayra Roadster BC, einem offenen Hypercar mit einem Preisschild von 3,1 Millionen Euro. Vor Steuern, versteht sich. Verglichen mit dem "normalen" Huayra Roadster ist hier so gut wie alles neu: Motor, Karosse, Aerodynamik, Fahrwerk, Auspuff - alles anders. Und es gibt noch mehr Carbon.

Den Antrieb übernimmt ein 6,0-Liter-V12 von AMG, der im BC 800 PS und 1.050 Nm Drehmoment auf die speziellen Pirelli PZero Trofeo R Hinterreifen einhämmern lässt. Das sind 36 PS und 50 Nm mehr als im herkömmlichen Roadster. Das sequenzielle 7-Gang-Getriebe kommt auch in diesem Fall vom britischen Zulieferer Xtrac. Laut Pagani ist es 35 Prozent leichter als ein Doppelkupplungsgetriebe. Damit trägt es mit dazu bei (neben unendlich vielen anderen Entwicklungs-Kniffen), dass der Roadster BC trocken lediglich 1.250 Kilo auf die Waage bringt.
Wie das BC Coupé baut auch das Cabrio auf einem Titan-Carbon-Monocoque mit Stahl-Hilfsrahmen auf. Die Karbon-Keramik-Bremse von Brembo hat vorne 6-Kolben-Sättel und 398-mm-Scheiben, hinten sind es 4-Kolben-Sättel und 380-mm-Discs. Der BC Roadster steht auf 20- und 21-Zoll-Rädern mit 265er- und 355er-Bereifung.
Optisch folgt er weitgehend dem Huayra BC Coupé. Das bedeutet einen noch ausladenderen Frontspoiler mit seitlichen Carbon-Flicks, einen modifizierten Heckdiffusor und einen generösen, festen Heckflügel. Dazu kommen Radhausentlüfungskiemen und massivere seitliche Lufteinlässe.
Laut Pagani generiert das Auto bis zu 1,9G Querbeschleunigung. Ein Bugatti Chiron beispielsweise kommt auf 1,5G. Eine offizielle 0-100-km/h-Zeit nennt die Sportwagen-Manufaktur nicht, die 3,0 Sekunden des Coupés dürften aber auch hier erreicht werden.
Seinen ersten öffentlichen Auftritt könnte der norditalienische Hardcore-Roadster bereits nächsten Monat auf der Monterey Car Week zelebrieren. 40 Exemplare des Autos wird Pagani bauen. Trotz des exorbitanten Preises sind - wie könnte es anders sein - bereits alle verkauft.

CSR2 will celebrate the Huayra Roadster BC with an 80 race ladder that players can enter using a Pagani Huayra Coupé, which will be gifted to all players of the game. During the event players have a chance to add the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC to their collection. As a final reward, players can win the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, to complete their Pagani collection. Using augmented reality, players can also park their Pagani cars in their real-world driveways and open every panel to study the details close up.
